Overview

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for guests while ensuring efficient food preparation and service operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and assisting guests with menu selections Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods Assist in food handling duties, including portioning, plating, and packaging food items Support team members in maintaining a smooth flow of restaurant operations during shifts Uphold all health and safety standards related to food industry regulations

Skills

Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for cashiering and order management Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Good understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Effective time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts Ability to upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities Kitchen experience or prior food industry work is a plus but not required Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
