We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and managing accounts payable and receivable. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health of our organization and requires proficiency in various accounting software.
Duties
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process payroll accurately and on time
Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transactions
Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
Maintain organized financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Prepare financial reports as needed for management review
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) is essential
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Experience with payroll processing and related regulations
Ability to perform account analysis and budgeting tasks
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
