Responsibilities

Prepare and present food items according to restaurant standards Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and payments Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas Assist with food handling and ensure adherence to food safety regulations Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for customers Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations Manage time effectively during busy shifts to meet service expectations

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and food service within a restaurant setting Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards Previous kitchen experience is a must, along with an ability to work as part of a team Ability to upsell menu items effectively while providing recommendations

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
