Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Technician to become an integral part of our client\'s team! You will be responsible for the daily Maintenance of the quality management system with this employer.

Responsibilities :
Determine priorities with the Quality Manager, implement assigned projects and maintain detailed documentation as required
Communicate clearly, effectively and professionally within the Quality Team
Update the Quality Manager with any issues that could affect customer satisfaction
Participate on the Internal Audit Team, recommend and implement process as well as equipment upgrades
Demonstrate awareness along with following all policies and procedures
Identify, isolate and document non-conformances
Perform dimensional studies
Must be willing to work a 2 week rotating continental shift

Qualifications :
Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 system
Knowledge of ASTM Standards
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word), Lotus Notes and statistical / SPC software
Scientific / analytical approach to problem solving and equipment use
Experience in a Quality field with exposure to root cause analysis problem solving skills is considered an asset
Post-secondary education in Quality Assurance or Science-based program and/or acceptable combination of education, training and experience is considered an asset
Exposure to ISO 9001:2015 auditing compliance
Familiarity within a manufacturing environment

Biweekly pay. Overtime after 84 hours in a two week pay period.
