What You'll Do:





In this role, you'll act as both a champion and guardian of our standards. You'll oversee compliance, lead audit processes, and make sure that every detail of the Individual Support Plan (ISP) reflects our commitment to quality. From leading medication safety reviews and health & safety inspections, to collaborating with teams across the organization and in the community, the QSS brings everyone together for one goal: service excellence.



Data will become your ally--you'll work with our Quality and Decision Support Specialist to unpack audit findings and turn them into actionable improvements. All the while, you'll model a person-centred approach that puts the needs and preferences of the people we support first, every time.


Key Responsibilities:




Oversee compliance, quality assurance, and audit processes to drive service excellence Monitor and review Individual Support Plans (ISP) to maintain high standards of quality assurance Lead and audit medication processes to ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance Conduct regular health and safety inspections and follow up on actions needed Coordinate with supervisors, departments, and community partners to ensure timely collaboration and ongoing improvement Analyze data and audit findings with the Quality and Decision Support Specialist to identify trends and opportunities for better service Promote and embody a person-centred, best-practices approach in everything you do

What We're Looking For:




Post-secondary degree in a relevant field Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized environment (or a blend of education and applicable experience) Strong grasp of O.H.S.A., AODA, ESA, and SSPDDA requirements Proficiency using computers, databases, Microsoft Office, internet, and e-mail Impeccable organizational skills and a knack for process documentation A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and up-to-date insurance (travel may be required between sites)
