Are you looking for a challenging internship?
We are looking for a summer student to join our dynamic Quality team at Kruger Products Inc. You will support various mill quality projects concerning the standardisation and improvements of our tissue quality & manufacturing process. This is a broad-spectrum position, covering all sites, paper machines and numerous converting units.
In this role, you will be...
Analyzing consumer & customer complaints to identify and characterize positive and/or negative trends
Supporting the competitive pick-up process and analysis of data
Maintaining and improving the specification process in the organization. This will involve doing statistical analysis and meetings with the different groups (QA, T&D, PD and mill operation).
Improving of data acquisition and analysis system
Optimizing current manufacturing processes
The main place of work is located at the Kruger Products Inc Head office or any plant in the organisation. A certain amount of flexibility may be granted in terms of travel. Some work may be done remotely.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering background
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Innovative spirit, able to work autonomously and prioritize projects
Good writing skills in English (French is an asset)
Ability to analyze data and handle large databases in real time
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
