Adecco Engineering & Technical Recruitment is currently searching for a Quality Project Engineer for our client in Vaughan, Ontario.
Reporting to the Quality Leader, the Quality Project Engineer is responsible for activities and collaboration with the project team and stakeholders, collect evidence, define the mechanism of failure, define the containment plan, and follow-up on execution. This Quality Project Engineer role will define the true root cause, define the permanent corrective action plan to remove root cause from the process or product. REQUIREMENTS - Quality Project Engineer

- 5-10+ years working in quality in the manufacturing sector
- Experience working in project teams determining root cause quality issues
- Degree or diploma in a related engineering field
- Strong project coordination and management skills.
- Good understanding of End-to-End (E2E) Quality processes
- Good understanding of different manufacturing technologies including electrical, machanical, hydraulic and electronic
- Experience working with an OEM would be considered an asset
- Understanding of manufacturing quality standards and requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES - Quality Project Engineer

- Participate in the review of all urgent issues from all sources
- Participate in project kick-offs
- Work with all stakeholders to define the mechanism of failure, associated containment plans, and root cause corrective actions.
- Participate in all daily project activities and meetings
- Execute or delegate necessary activities, and partner with stakeholders for project execution
- Execute according to standard work and participate in the continuous improvement of methods and standard
- Back-up to other quality project engineers
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to improve project performance
