SummaryResponsible for managing the Quality department for the Tilbury Plant, supporting current production, new launches, and service needs.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Determine and implement optimum quality structure to support the Tilbury facility
• Rally the organization to expedite root cause analysis and problem solving for the product/process development teams and manufacturing
• Drive Quality Continuous Improvement goals
• Coach and technical support for Tilbury Manufacturing
• Structure Quality organization towards waste reduction - working toward decrease cost of poor Quality
• Coordination of quality functions with Tilbury Quality Department
• Direct all phases of Quality & Continuous Improvement activities for the Tilbury facility
• Represent the Tilbury facility organization externally in the areas of Quality & Continuous Improvement
• Represent our customers internally with quality & productivity expectations, performance & system requirements consistent with IATF 16494
• Actively promote and maintain a culture of Continuous Improvement within the organization
• Coordinate the ongoing compliance of customer & internal quality procedural requirements
• Analyze & report on quality & productivity measures (ATQ ATPM)
• Support short-term & long-term business goals of BU2 Business Unit, including policy, procedure and process development and compliance
• Develop quality systems & procedures
• Coordinate quality initiatives i.e., IATF 16494, Zero tolerance for defects strategy
• Monitor and measure quality performance and improvement trends, provide advice and assistance toward the resolution of quality issues and serve as the organization\'s \xe2\x80\x9cconscience\xe2\x80\x9d for quality.
• Providing reports for the corporate quality and MOS meetings
• Ensures that the Lessons Learned Data base information is being collected and evaluated for future improvements
• Ensure PDP process compliance
• Responsible for Supplier Quality Assurance for Tilbury Plant
• All other duties and projects as assigned.

Environmental Health & Safety Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in their duties and responsibilities in accordance with Health and safety legislation in Ontario.
• Knowledgeable in the company\'s duties and responsibilities in accordance with Environmental legislation in Ontario and Canada.
• Working knowledge of ISO 45001, IATF 16494, OHSAS 18001
• Ensure that employees work in a safe manner and to enforce all applicable Environmental, Health and Safety legislation requirements and internal ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job supervises the Quality Engineers and the CMM Technologist.Qualifications

• Technical Degree / Diploma or related work experience
• Minimum 7 to 10 years quality / manufacturing experience in the automotive field
• Conversant in applied statistical methods
• S/4 HANA SAP experience preferred.
• Versed in problem solving techniques
• High attention to detail & accuracy
• Proficient in statistical analysis
• Skilled in Quality Core Tools (PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan)
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Computer literacy, including MS office
• Must be organized and possess good decision-making skills
