Description:



Quality Assurance for Pharmacy Systems

Design, develop, and execute detailed test strategies, plans, and cases for pharmacy-related software, including Kroll Pharmacy Management System (PMS)

. Identify, log, and track defects in pharmacy systems and collaborate with developers to resolve them efficiently.

Ensure compliance with Canadian pharmacy regulations.



2. Mobile App Testing:



Test mobile applications that support pharmacy operations (both Android and iOS), ensuring smooth functionality across platforms.

Perform functional, regression, performance, device compatibility, and usability testing on pharmacy mobile apps.

Focus on patient-facing features such as medication refills, prescription tracking, drug interaction alerts, and appointment bookings.



3. Central Fill Operations:



Ensure seamless integration and functionality testing of Central Fill systems, verifying workflows from prescription processing to fulfillment.

Conduct end-to-end testing of Central Fill systems, prioritizing accuracy, automation, and turnaround times.

Identify bottlenecks, bugs, or process inefficiencies in Central Fill processes and recommend analytical solutions.



4. Collaboration with Teams:



Work closely with pharmacy operations, product development, and IT teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Provide domain-specific insights during requirement analysis and system design phases.



5. Compliance, Documentation, and Reporting:



Ensure all testing activities align with Canadian pharmacy regulatory compliance standards.

Create and maintain QA documentation including test plans, test results, release validations, and defect reports

. Generate detailed reports on software quality to share with stakeholders and leadership.



Essential Skills:



We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist with a strong background in the Canadian pharmacy domain.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with pharmacy management systems like Kroll, mobile application testing, and Central Fill processes.

The QA Specialist will work closely with pharmacy operations teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of cutting-edge pharmacy technology in Canada.

Desirable Skills:

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Pharmacy, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in QA testing, particularly in the Canadian pharmacy or health domain.Technical Skills

Expertise in the Kroll Pharmacy Management System (PMS) used in Canadian pharmacies.

Strong knowledge of Central Fill workflows and third-party integrations.

Proficiency in mobile application testing (both iOS and Android), including scripting automated tests where applicable.

Familiarity with software testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestRail, or similar tools.Soft Skills

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.

Proactive and able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Certifications (Optional but Preferred):

ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.

Pharmacy Technician Certification or experience within a pharmacy setting is a bonus.
