The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and customer expectations. This role plays a key leadership position in maintaining product quality, food safety, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement.

Leadership & Management:



Lead and develop QA/QC team members, providing direction, coaching, and performance management. Foster a quality-focused culture across all departments through collaboration and accountability. Serve as the site's primary quality representative for audits, inspections, and customer interactions. Develop, track, and improve the Quality scorecard including KPIs and major initiatives Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities for employees through MFS process

Quality Assurance (QA):



Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), including document control, training, deviations, CAPA, and change control. Ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 111, GMP, HACCP, and company standards. Manage internal audits, supplier qualification programs, and regulatory inspections. Review and approve investigations, CAPAs, deviations, and change controls. Approve validation activities (cleaning, equipment, process).

Quality Control (QC):



Oversee QC operations including raw material, in-process, and finished product testing. Manage environmental and microbial monitoring programs. Review and approve COAs, lab data, and test results for accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with R&D and production on new product validations and scale-up.

Training & Compliance:



Develop and maintain the GMP training program. Ensure all employees are adequately trained and records are maintained in the QMS. Support regulatory inspections and ensure timely resolution of any findings.

Continuous Improvement:



Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances, customer complaints, and audit findings. Analyze trends in deviations, lab results, and process performance to implement preventive actions. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve quality performance. * Prepare and present quality metrics to executive leadership.
