Overview



Monitors customer and vendor quality requirements overseeing the approval of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished product examinations

Main Responsibilities:



Completes incoming, in-process and final production inspections. Approves materials/product by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests. Uses dimensioning tools for inspection such as tape measures, vernier calipers, micrometers. Verifies and transfers traceability information and ASME code stamping. Ensures complete traceability of all products from incoming material to final shipping in accordance with documented procedures. Performs 3D scanning and generate reports for review. Provides variable customer quality related documentation. Support and assists Shipping & Receiving Coordinator. Assistant and back-up responsibilities for Quality Manager and Production Supervisors. Coordinates manufacturing initiatives for continuous improvement projects. Oversees the Calibration program. Initiates the NCR/CAR process. Manages documentation and data related PPAP activities and reports, including First Article Inspections. Liaison with customers and vendors as required.

Qualifications:



Post-secondary education in engineering, engineering technology or related discipline and/or relevant experience Familiarity of Shop Fabrication drawings Computer proficiency / MS Office Analyzing information, decision making, teamwork, organizational and communication skills Knowledge with ISO 9001 and ASME Code is an asset Familiarity of Welding Process an asset Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge of AutoCAD or Drafting experience.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
