Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Quality Assurance Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The Quality Inspector supports daily quality control activities. This role helps ensure adherence to engineering specifications, quality standards and customer expectations. This position will work closely with both the production team and the engineering department and gain hands-on experience with inspecting axle assemblies and components.

Responsibilities

Follows company processes to complete first off and in process inspections for each order. Follows company processes to complete final inspection for each order. Assists with the incoming inspection of various products from all vendors as needed. Follows company processes to process quarantine parts and assists with dispositions (scrap, rework, return to vendor). Participates in cross training and assists with axle assembly and other production areas as needed. Assists with quality document updates and work instruction updates. Assists with time studies Participates in ongoing training. Follows company processes to complete weekly internal audit program. Reports hazards and unsafe conditions to supervisors

Requirements

Strong organizational skills. Strong time management skills. Strong communication skills. Basic knowledge of reading engineering drawings. Familiarity with measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, dial indicators)

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
