About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Quality Improvement & Safety, Central Zone, the QIS Operations Consultant, has a responsibility for supporting the overall coordination of the planning, development and implementation of the activities with focus on supporting and leading activities that advance and deliver on the provincial NS Health Quality Improvement and Culture strategy.
The scope of practice will include various roles as facilitator, coordinator, communicator, and planner. The Consultant works according to the mission, vision, values and policies of NS Health to support the development and implementation of QIS programs, services and initiatives throughout the province. The consultant\'s activities are guided by QIS priority areas, multiple stakeholders and by community needs and, therefore, require a professional approach. This work requires recognition and application of best practice and evidenced informed decision making.
