Our client, a leader in the health care solutions industry, is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the current quality system and to make adjustments as necessary with changing customer and regulatory requirements, review and revise quality documents; procedures, work instruction and forms, participate in product design review meetings, perform Quality System internal audits, maintain the Corrective Action/Preventive Action Program, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time / permanent position.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education in Quality Engineering or Engineering Degree plus Quality Certificate.
- 5+ years related quality engineering experience, preferably in a technical / manufacturing or healthcare solutions field
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential
- Strong familiarity with ISO 13485
- Experience with Class II medical device regulations; Class III experience is considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
