As Lead Quality Engineer in Alternative Investments Technology, you will be working to provide Quality and automated testing strategies and leading a group of Quality and Engineering professionals and expected to have in-dept knowledge of current industry-wide testing techniques and test automation tools. You will be responsible in building quality strategy and standards across the team by defining and implementing detailed, comprehensive automated test strategy and leading the day-to-day testing. Work with program leadership to resolve issues and testing risks.

Role-Specific Accountabilities:

• Develop and execute test strategies and test plans with a focus on optimized coverage across work streams.
• Participate in project review meetings to determine status, problem areas, and rework and re-plan activities
• Maximize test automation coverage by bringing in \xe2\x80\x9cautomation first\xe2\x80\x9d mindset and look for opportunities to shift-left testing in the delivery process
• Design test architectures (Test automation frameworks, code libraries etc.), automation standards and procedures, for the team to use across various platforms.
• Lead and mentor a team of QE professionals and drive testing priorities to achieve the necessary business outcomes
• Identify and select industry best practices, to support continuous process improvements and efficiencies in the overall QE processes and implement test metrics culture to demonstrate continuous improvements
• Monitor the effectiveness of the Test automation and bring about improvements through insights gained via analysis at various stages of test automation to ensure stability, efficiency, and scalability
• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams and infuse quality in every phase of SDLC
• Developing, enhancing, and executing manual and automated functional tests

Qualifications

• A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Engineering, related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training
• 5+ years of QE experience in related roles(s)
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience leading QA/QE initiatives
• Experience with QA processes and methodologies required, automated and manual test processes, test planning, test cases design, scripting, execution, automated test tools, regression testing
• Experienced in interacting and coordinating test activities amongst multiple teams and ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Hands on experience ETL, data quality/completeness validation
• Proficiency in Python with experience in development and maintenance of Test Automation Frameworks / Test Harness
• Hands on experience working with UI automation tools like Selenium, UFT, and API test automation tools like Postman, SoapUI etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Experience with Agile Scrum/Kanban processes, and work management tools: JIRA, Confluence
• Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills, and close attention to detail
• Ability to learn new concepts, and adapt to changing priorities and new challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills \xe2\x80\x93 Good to have

• Knowledge of AWS/and or Azure
• Experience in DevOps tools like Codebase, Kubernetes, and/or Jenkins
