Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, conducting account reconciliations, and supporting various accounting functions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting software and financial processes to maintain high-quality standards across all financial operations. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in accounting and experience with multiple accounting platforms to contribute to the company's success.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data across various accounts. Perform detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and accuracy. Support payroll processing activities, verifying data and maintaining records in compliance with company policies. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to record, update, and maintain financial information. Assist in budgeting activities by providing relevant financial data and analysis. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards during all financial transactions. Prepare reports on account statuses and assist in audits as needed. Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and maintain high-quality standards in financial reporting.

Qualifications



Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting processes. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account reconciliation and analysis. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members. Prior experience in quality control or finance-related roles is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant educational background in Accounting, Finance, or related field is highly desirable. This position is integral to maintaining the integrity of our financial operations and supporting overall business health through meticulous quality control practices.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
