Quality Control Technician - Laboratory
, you can expect to:
Perform Routine Tests*: You will be trained on assigned test procedures, interpretation of test data and equipment operation Practice Safety*: Follow all safety, PPE and waste handling requirements Adhere to Instructions*: Execute tasks according to written work instructions Prepare Reports*: Prepare and authorize Certificates of Conformance or Test Reports Document and Report*: Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections and measurements, providing clear and concise reports on findings. Insights will contribute to refining our processes and maintaining our commitment to excellence. Collaborate*: Work with our team of engineers and scientists to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions Innovate*: Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies. Identify inefficiencies and work within MDS Coatings' culture of Continuous Improvement to make impactful change

What we are looking for
:
Strong attention to detail and passion for maintaining high quality standards
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in a laboratory is an asset
Experience in aerospace quality is an asset
Ability to use Microsoft suite of products and a demonstrated ability to learn to use new computer software
The ability to effectively communicate and write in English is required
Must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for Controlled Goods

Pay: $19.50-$22.50 per hour
