Mangrove Lithium is seeking a
Quality Control Technician
to join our Quality Assurance Team at our Delta, BC facility. This role focuses on executing routine analytical testing to support production
and R&D operations. The Technician will be responsible for inspecting incoming raw materials, running established tests on in-process and final products, and maintaining lab equipment. This role plays a key part in upholding Mangrove's quality standards across all stages of production.
Responsibilities
Perform routine chemical analyses in an analytical laboratory setting on raw materials, intermediates, and final products using established methods and techniques, including:
ICP-OES
Titrations
Particle Size Distribution (PSD)
Gravimetric and other wet chemistry procedures
Inspect and approve incoming raw materials in accordance with quality standards
Prepare standards, blanks, and samples for analysis
Maintain accurate, organized, and traceable records of all test results
Conduct regular calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments
Adhere to established SOPs and quality protocols to ensure consistency and compliance
Communicate analytical findings and quality updates to the QA team
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through consistent execution and feedback
Requirements
Safety is our top priority. A proven track-record of a high standard for workplace safety is essential.
Diploma or B.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution
1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting
Thorough knowledge of standard analytical chemistry techniques
Hands-on experience with ICP-OES is a plus
Familiarity with basic statistical methods and data analysis
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Strong background in quality control is essential for success in this role
