Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor

Position Overview:

As a QC Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of the final product in our multi-family construction projects throughout the lower mainland. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in Drywall Taping and Finishing to ensure the finishing stages of our projects meet with both industry and client standards, as well as show an active role in helping our workers be the most productive using the right material and equipment. This candidate must demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, and plan and schedule own schedule in accordance to these goals.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of the finishing of the project from material ordering to final polish and deficiencies.

Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors when necessary.

Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Monitor and enforce quality control standards.

Review and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.

Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being performed according to plans and specifications.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Foremen, and other professionals to resolve any design or quality issues.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, inspection reports, and employee evals.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role with involvement in finishing stages for mixed-use residential mid-rises and townhome projects.

Quality control experience.

Mandatory experience as a drywall finisher, at least 5 years.

Preferably some experience in drywall, & painting.

Strong knowledge of safety standards.

Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.

Familiarity with construction management software.

Ability to supervise and lead a team of construction workers.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
