With the continued growth of our business, we are seeking to hire a \xe2\x80\x9cQuality Control Supervisor\xe2\x80\x9d. What you do:
- Plan, organize and oversee the QC testing of raw materials and products.
- Organize and prioritize sample testing.
- Manage specification development, test method development and new method approval.
- Perform OOS investigations to resolve non-compliant testing.
- Qualification and calibration of testing equipment.
- Compose and ensure SOPs are in compliance to meet the standards of GMP.
- Release of raw materials and products after QC testing compliance.
- Approval of specifications & leads training programs for quality staff.
- Expertise in applicable GMPs (NNHPD, 21CFR111), Food Safety (HACCP) and SQF.
- Support all Quality compliance processes to interface effectively with operations using current best practice methods.
- 2+ years of experience in a quality systems / continuous improvement-related field in a GMP regulated Manufacturing environment (i.e. natural health product, pharma or food industries).
- Minimum bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in the Sciences (e.g. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food, Microbiology).
- Knowledge and understanding of calibration concepts.
- Passion for continuous improvement, efficiency, and teamwork.
