Quality Control Manager

Job Description

Role Responsibilities




Develop and maintain QC systems, procedures, and standards to meet ASME and regulatory requirements Lead annual QC manual reviews and audits with ASME & ABSA; conduct internal audits and report findings Monitor welding procedures and collaborate with engineering to ensure product and process compliance Identify and implement improvements to enhance product quality Maintain quality records including WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, MDRs, NDE reports, calibration logs, and NCRs

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications




Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of welding procedures and ASME codes Analytical skills to identify root causes and trends Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency Proven leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and feedback abilities Familiarity with ASME B31.5/B31.3 and CSA B52 codes Previous experience in Engineering and/or Quality Management 4-6 years of relevant experience, including 2-4 years in a leadership role Professional designation and Sigma Six certification are assets
