The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that the plastic products produced meet the required quality standards. This position involves conducting tests, analyzing materials, and monitoring the extrusion process to detect defects or deviations from specifications. The technician will work closely with production teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Set up new profiles in PLV (Digital Optical Comparator) for online production checks
Inspect incoming material returns and identify material to recycle or restock to be approved by Quality control manager.
Conduct lab testing to ensure product meets with Industrial Standards.
Review and assist lab tester with collecting retain samples and reporting data
Assist QC Manager with new product launches, creating and update manufacturing specifications.
Assist QC Manager in conducting investigations and implementing preventive and corrective actions for Quality issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of test results, product quality reports, and any deviations, then relaying corrective actions to inspector, and production team
Conduct and maintain all quality control sample testing, records and retain samples to ensure compliance with standards.
Maintain inventory of required lab supplies and ensure proper maintenance of lab equipment
Prepare daily lab reports for management team.
Identify product imperfections using compliance standards and testing equipment
Assist with reporting, and compliance to ensure regulatory standards are met
Set up, operate, standardize, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment utilized in analytical testing, process development and improvement
Responsible for daily housekeeping and cleaning of the lab
Adhere to all established health and safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain Technical Manuals
Enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Report safety incidents or near misses promptly and participate in incident investigations.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Specifications
High School diploma, or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience within the Quality field in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting (Preferred)
Team player with multi-tasking abilities
Must work well under pressure; able to work productively both independently with minimum supervision and on a team to meet deadlines
Ability to adapt quickly to new procedures, equipment and other workplace changes
Strong understanding of quality testing procedures and industry standards
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. /23 kgs
Customer-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and delivery
Proficient in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering drawings
