Job Summary

The Quality Control Inspector will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards through detailed inspections, testing, and documentation. This role requires expertise in welding and coating inspection, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of welds, coatings, and fabricated components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) and coating evaluations as required. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company quality policies.
Qualifications

Mandatory Certifications:

Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Level 1 NACE Level 2 (Coating Inspector) Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection in an industrial setting. Strong knowledge of welding processes, coating applications, and industry standards. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions

Permanent, full-time position with a standard workweek of 50 hours. Work is primarily conducted on-site at our Medicine Hat facility. May require occasional overtime or shift work to meet project deadlines.
