Your Role: Quality Control Inspector



As a Quality Control Inspector, you will ensure that every product meets the highest standards before leaving our facility. Your inspections will cover incoming materials, in-process production, and final products. You'll utilize precision tools to verify dimensions, document findings, and help uphold the company's reputation for reliability and excellence.

Responsibilities:



Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments Use and calibrate inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, and indicators Complete and maintain inspection reports and records Identify and report non-conformances or deviations from specifications Contribute to a safe and efficient shop floor environment Operate overhead or jib cranes as needed (asset) Adhere to quality management systems and inspection protocols

What You Bring:



Minimum 1 year of experience in inspection of machined parts Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for inconsistencies Ability to accurately use precision measuring tools and gauges used in oil industry applications Forklift and overhead crane operation experience is an asset Experience in computer operation with Microsoft operating systems Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Must pass a vision test in compliance with CAN/CGSB48 Teamwork, problem-solving, and clear communication skills Willingness to work in a fast-paced, shop floor environment Machining experience would be an asset

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
