Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to perform thorough inspections using various precision measuring instruments.

Duties

Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements. Implement and maintain quality assurance processes in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, and FDA regulations. Perform quality audits and assist in the development of quality control procedures. Analyze data collected during inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain documentation related to quality control activities and ensure compliance with HACCP standards. Operate vision inspection systems for automated quality assessments.

Skills

Proficient in using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers. Strong understanding of quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations. Experience with quality audits and implementing QA/QC processes. Excellent analysis skills for data collection and interpretation. Familiarity with Calypso software for measurement analysis is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
