Position: Quality Control Engineer (High Voltage)
Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Salary: $65,000 to $75,000
Job Type: Full-time, permanent plus excellent benefits
Schedule: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
An international leading manufacturer is actively seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer (High Voltage) to become a valuable part of their team.
As an Quality Control Technician (High Voltage), you\'ll conduct production and field service returns testing, troubleshoot electrical equipment, and excel in root cause analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble and disassemble electromechanical equipment using fundamental hand tools
- Interpret schematics and drawings, carry out modifications, and perform rework on both new and used subassemblies and systems
- Be responsible for conducting testing and troubleshooting in both production and field service returns
- Utilize tools such as oscilloscopes, variable power supplies, digital multi-meters, and power analyzers
- Assess and troubleshoot intricate electromechanical power and control equipment
- Contribute to the development of project schedules and manpower requirements
Requirements:
- At least 2 to 5 years of practical experience in testing of high voltage electrical equipment
- Experience in an electrical manufacturing setting, preferably in roles related to quality assurance, technical support, or resolving technical issues
- Education in Electrical Technology or related is considered an important asset
