Quality Assurance Assistant .As a member of the facility's QA team, the QA Assistant monitors and analyzes data related to the Hatchery Sanitation Monitoring Report through Swabing and other Quality Assurance program requirements to ensure they are consistently achieved. The Assistant is responsible for reviewing escalated proposed corrective actions and providing additional guidance and support as required. While operating in a fast paste manufacturing environment, the Assistant must be comfortable analyzing large amounts of data and making recommendations to Production and QA leadership based on findings. Responsibilities
Perform daily monitoring and verification tasks as outlined in the HACCP program and recommend corrective actions for deviations.
Provide support and coaching to employees and production management to maintain and improve facility QA practices and procedures.
Sanitation monitoring: microbiology sampling, plate reading, reporting Chemical testing.
Incubator egg temperatures
Breakout & Candling procedures, scheduling and reporting
Coordinate Moisture loss/chick yield testing
Chick quality checks
Fluff sampling
Assist in the implementation of changes that advance QA systems and/or programs.
Back up to QA supervisor
Other duties as assigned
