Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the cosmetics and personal care industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Laboratory Support team supporting formulation development and product quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift: Day or Afternoon (1)
What's the Job?

  • Support the development of new formulations and maintain current products within established timelines.
  • Assist in calculating ingredient amounts and weighing raw materials for batch preparation.
  • Develop an understanding of colour evaluation, shade matching, and perform product stability testing.
  • Learn to operate laboratory equipment such as pH meters, viscometers, scales, and mixers, adhering to SOPs.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and GMP guidelines are consistently followed in the laboratory environment.
What's Needed?
  • College diploma or a minimum of a 3-year university degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant scientific field.
  • Hands-on laboratory skills, including experience with HPLC and GC analysis.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS, GMP standards, and operation of lab equipment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with lab data entry modules.
  • Ability to perform light to medium lifting (up to 10kg) and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
