Requisition ID: 197799Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.The main function of a QAT Specialist is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Review business requirements/user stories, test case design, document all testing activities. Execute test plans, scenarios, script(s) and procedures. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen(s) and content. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes. Create or maintain databases of known test defects. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
  • 5-7 years experience required working within SDLC/TDLC (Testing and Quality Assurance, Software Quality, Performance and Automation Testing, etc.)
  • Experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans, Test Strategy, Test Cases, Test scripts and Test Exit reports.
  • Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing.
  • Lead, support, and train QA Analysts
  • Able to multi-task on multiple releases/projects
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We\'d love to work with you if you have:
  • Extensive experience in test planning and management tooling such as with HP Quality Centre / ALM, IBM Rational Suite, JIRA, X-Ray, Confluence, PRM or similar applications
  • Working knowledge with: Defect Management Tools (like JIRA), Requirement Management Tools, Test Management and Planning Tools (like HP ALM), Web Content Management tools and concepts, Banking systems and their integration (TSYS, PRM, CRM, etc.)
  • Project Management / Agile certification an asset
