Italia Salami Co. is a growing and innovative food manufacturing company seeking a well-organized and self-motivated individual for the full-time position of Quality Assurance Technician.
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible to ensure the production process meets superior food safety systems (HACCP) and quality standards from entry of raw materials into the facility, to the processing of goods, to shipment of finished product. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and will demonstrate an ability to work independently and be pro-active in identifying deviations and corrective actions. The current shift runs from Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 4:30PM, with the occasional start time of 6:30AM. However, the shift is subject to change based on production schedule.
The Quality Assurance Technician is a member of the Quality Assurance Department and reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
