Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to take ownership of our product release process. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage moderately complex situations that require critical thinking and review the impact on the department and the organization. You will be responsible for balancing multiple tasks to achieve departmental goals and projects.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will possess basic decision-making ability to manoeuvre routine tasks and seek supervisor/manager guidance for processes pertaining to product release/launches or document approvals. You will release products using the ERP system and have knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).



Duties and Responsibilities

Reviewing manufacturing batch records, packaging batch records, QC reports, environmental monitoring reports, and other batch-specific documents to ensure compliance

Develop, standardize, execute, review and approve work instructions and SOPs. associated with job functions to meet compliance requirements of appropriate global regulatory bodies

Employ strong critical thinking and prioritization skills to oversee progress of cross-functional projects and programs

Identify compliance and process issues/gaps to supervisors/managers. Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to identify any investigations and solutions

Build strong relationships with team and internal collaborators

Knowledge and Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in a scientific discipline or related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech industry

Experience with product release and compliance with Quality Management Standards such as ISO 9001/13485/relevant GMPs and established procedures

Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Ability to balance multiple tasks and manage moderately complex situations/scenarios
