Position: Quality Assurance
About the Position
This position is required to assist QA manager in planning, designing, establishing, maintaining and continuously improving quality systems at the company to comply with Health Canada regulations
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), quality agreements related to vendors and clients, and established procedures including SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and CPM (Client Procedure Manuals)
Assist in change control related procedures, investigating deviations, and development of CAPAs
Conduct product lot hold/ release processes to ensure effective control and accurate documentation
Perform vendor/client product recalls in an effective and timely manner
Provide support in preparation of governmental and vendor/ client audits, response and development of action plans to auditor, and ensure actions are completed and documented in a timely manner
Ensure scheduled inspection and maintenance of facility and equipment is completed according to schedule
Assist in validation and/or qualification studies including temperature mapping studies, shipping lane profile studies, and preconditioning studies
Perform temperature monitoring activities and evaluate data for conformance and irregularities
Perform functions as stipulated on procedures and support other job functions as required
Qualifications and Educations
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in science from a Canadian university with 6 months related QA/QC experience OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Working knowledge of current regulations including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
Experience working in a regulated environment preferably in warehousing environments
Subject to security clearance
