As a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for leading and oversee activities in support of delivering the best product quality experience to Kisko customers. You will be responsible for defining QC inspection standards and processes for product shipments, conducting manufacturer quality audits, analyzing inbound and post-purchase defect data, leading root-cause analysis, and Corrective Action/Preventative Action with the manufacturing process, and prepare and present regular quality reporting. In addition, you will build strong relationships with manufacturing partners to continuously improve quality and develop internal technical capabilities to grow the Quality function at Kisko. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Establish quality procedures, standards, and specifications for the company.
  • Collaborate with organization\xe2\x80\x99s purchasing manager to ensure raw materials from external suppliers meet quality requirements.
  • Set and enforce standards for health and safety during work operations.
  • Carry out research to identify ways to reduce waste and maximize resources.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes follow both national and international standards of production.
  • Conduct surveys to identify customer requirements and ensure they are being met by established quality standards.
  • Provide recommendations to company management on ways to improve on existing quality processes.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze relevant quality statistical data to obtain information regarding quality performance.
  • Supervise technicians, inspectors, and other company staff to ensure they perform their duties in line with established quality procedures.
  • Monitor product development processes to identify deviations from quality policies.
  • Conduct tests to verify the quality of raw materials and finished products.
  • Review existing process and product specification to identify the need for improvement or upgrade.
  • Approve compliant products and reject defective ones.
  • Prepare and present reports to update upper management on quality activities.
  • Maintain proper records of quality test, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage the STT quality system, actively engaged in equipment inspection, accuracy to print, validation of final product prior to shipping to customers. Identifying and reporting deficiencies through the appropriate channels for resolution and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence. Validation of internal and external manufacturing methods for meeting system requirements.
  • Enhancement of existing quality program, development of processes and procedures within the quality group.
  • Follow-up on quality deviations, deficiency resolution, identification of root cause, and non conformance reports within the business.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure quality system compliance.
  • Point of contact with auditor(s) in support of external audit(s).
  • Maintain and update internal Quality Manual, Quality Control process and procedures.
  • Creates, modifies, supports, and retains inspection documents.
  • Monitor subcontractor work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures and codes when applicable.
Skills Required:
  • Degree/Diploma in science or business-based programs.
  • 7-10 years of Quality Control/Management Experience in manufacturing industry.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Knowledge of GMP, SSOP, and HACCP principles are required.
  • Solid analytical and technical skills are required.
  • Strong understanding of testing procedures and lab functions are required.
  • Familiar with company and industry quality standards and processes.
  • Proficient in computer technology and systems.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of market trends and conditions.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to positively influence others.
  • Great team player with strong interpersonal skills.
