Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time, Quality Assurance Associate Mississauga, ON, in the medical industry. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience. * Pay rate: $22/hour

The Quality Assurance Associate will receive continuous training and will be familiar with basic quality assurance techniques (investigational, statistical, and analytical) which they use to perform investigations, analyze data, and recommend improvements to quality processes within the scope of their work. They are becoming familiar with ISO 13485 and other governmental requirements for the quality system and can support changes and improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities: * Initiating, coordinating and analyzing (e.g. Root cause analysis, trending, control charting, gap analysis) data and reports using statistical techniques
  • Analyzing and interpreting standards and regulations and making recommendations for changes based on requirements and specifications
  • Managing quality functions such as complaints, feedback, service, or general discrepancies (as assigned)
  • Complying with the Health & Safety policies of the company and informing management of unsafe working conditions
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent of education and work experience
  • Training or certification in Quality field is preferred
  • 2-3 years quality assurance/ quality engineering experience preferred, in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated competence as a Quality Assurance Associate or equivalent
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (presentation, written and oral)
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
