As the Quality Assurance and Integrity Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Pressure Equipment Integrity Management System (PEIMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) at The Citys wastewater treatment plants to ensure regulatory compliance and the effective management of pressure equipment. You will provide oversight of asset integrity and support power plant turnaround planning and execution. Primary duties include:Develop, implement, and maintain the Pressure Equipment Integrity Management System (PEIMS). Develop quality manuals and procedures for the operation and maintenance of pressure equipment and related assets. Oversee quality assurance and control activities for pressure equipment servicing and repairs, ensuring compliance with ABSA regulations, safety codes, and internal procedures. Evaluate the condition and performance of assets to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams on turnaround planning, including scope development, scheduling, and contractor strategy to optimize execution. Plan and develop preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure ongoing compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.




Qualifications



A High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) and at least 5 years of relevant experience in pressure equipment integrity, regulatory compliance, and applicable codes and standards. Certification in CWB Welding Inspector CSA W178.2 Level 2 or Level 3 is required. Must be eligible to obtain Confined Space Entry Certification. A valid Class 5 Driver's License (or provincial equivalent), with no more than 6 demerits and no current suspensions or charges pending OR; a valid Graduated Driver's License (GDL) with no more than 4 demerits and no current suspensions or charges pending. Experience with industrial power plant turnaround management is considered an asset. Owner experience or a combination of Owner & shop fabrication experience in ASME Section I, Section IV, & Section VIII Div 1 is considered an asset. ISO Lead Auditor certification in Quality Management Systems or equivalent is an asset. Experience in building and implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) is an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated problem-solving, troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to work independently.

Working Conditions:

Office environment and daily work in an industrial power generation facility at Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant with exposure to high temperature and high pressure. The environment also includes exposure to heat, cold, humid/wet, dust, noise, chemicals, gases and odors, physical hazards, and the potential of confined space entry which require PPE.
