In return, we promise to provide support, opportunities and performance-led financial rewards at a workplace where you can shape the future, win as a team and grow with us.About the roleWexe2x80x99re looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join the Data & Analytics team at Intact Lab!What you'll do here:Analyze, define and translate functional and technical specifications into test requirements.Design, build and review global testing strategies.Design and develop test cases for the various components of the system, of the application under development.Attend Agile project ceremonies to report on the status of tests, communicate problems, implement QA standards and policies and communicate the QA schedule.Ensure that customer needs are met with the highest quality.Manage and coordinate end-to-end testing activities for projects.Identify and implement QA best practices.Identify and help to implement Data & DB testing.Coordinate activities to ensure test data preparation.What you bring to the table:Bachelor or college degree in a field related to IT or any combination of equivalent education and experienceMinimum of 10 years of experience in IT Quality AssuranceKnowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse conceptsReview Data Models, Data Mappings, Architectural Documentation to create/execute effective SIT Test Plans and SIT test caseValidates data by running queries in the database and verify that the results match the expectationsWorks closely with software development team (Business Analysts, Developers & other testers) to ensure timely and effective testing effortStrong in SQL, be able to write queries to extract data for test case data comparisonGood understanding of the CI / CD conceptGood knowledge of Confluence, zephyr and JIRAIn-depth knowledge of test best practices and test development toolsGood communicatorTeam player with an analytical mind and attention to detailsCan establish priorities, manage them and readjust yourself in case of changePersevering and have problem-solving skillsNo Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.Knowledge of French - an asset.#LI-HybridWhat we offerOur hybrid work model provides the balance between working from home and enjoying meaningful in-person interactions.Working here means you'll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
