Position Summary




Above and Beyond Care Services Inc. is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly organized Quality and Compliance Officer who will serve as the strategic lead and operational coordinator for all matters related to quality assurance, accreditation readiness, privacy compliance, and policy oversight at Above and Beyond Care Services (ABCS). This leadership role ensures that the organization meets all regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards under CAC, ACDS, and SLALA, while also supporting internal processes and data accuracy within the client management system (ShareVision).

Key Responsibilities:



Serve as the organization's Privacy Officer and ensure compliance with FOIP/PIPA regulations Conduct ShareVision audits to ensure complete and accurate documentation Investigate privacy breaches and manage confidentiality protocols Maintain and update operational policies and ensure alignment with accreditation standards Lead internal accreditation preparations and serve as the main liaison with auditors and licensing bodies Perform monthly site visits to assess quality and compliance across programs Track incident reports, identify trends, and coordinate risk mitigation strategies Coordinate schedules for audits, training, site visits, and policy review Deliver staff training on privacy, documentation, and organizational procedures Compile monthly compliance reports and support data-driven strategic planning

Qualifications:



Degree or diploma in Social Work, Health Administration, Public Policy, Disability Studies, or related field. Minimum 2 years' experience in a compliance, quality assurance, or case management role in human services. Experience with accreditation (CAC, ACDS, SLALA) is highly preferred. Knowledge of FOIP/PIPA and privacy best practices. Proficiency with client information systems (e.g., ShareVision). Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills. Ability to travel to program sites within the region.
