DEPARTMENT: Quality Controls
LOCATION / REGION: Kitimat, BC
SCHEDULE: 14 days on/7 days off, 10 hours/day
REPORTS TO: Quality Manager

Reporting to the Quality Manager and supporting the Quality team, we are looking for a highly motivated administrative support member to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate is action-oriented, loves a challenge, and takes initiative working with a diverse range of both staff and management. Key Objectives:

  • Commitment towards a safe working environment and positive safety culture
  • Responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work while carrying out duties
  • Assist with document control and data archiving
  • Assist with reporting and documentation
  • General administrative support requests
  • Support the quality controls function as instructed by the Quality Manager
Main Activities:
  • Updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical information
  • Organizing internal meetings and taking minutes as necessary
  • Maintaining all Quality actions and communicating with internal staff members to ensure timely completion
  • Maintaining various Quality related documentation such as non-conformance reports, internal audit schedules, procedures, and policies
  • Maintaining various documentation such as meeting minutes, and inspection reports
  • Entering information into spreadsheets and online databases
  • Updating the safety boards with contact details, procedures, posters, performance results, and any other relevant information
  • Working with the Quality Manager and other key stakeholders to provide administrative support for internal improvement projects
  • Communicating Quality information to internal or external stakeholders as required
  • Any other administrative function as required by the Quality team
Qualifications:
  • DCS/DEC preferred
  • Advanced computer skills \xe2\x80\x93 MS Office (Excel in particular), Sharepoint
  • Ability to build, foster and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong analytical skills are essential
  • Strong organizational and effective prioritization skills with the ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
  • Document management systems: 3 years (preferred)
  • Administrative: 3 years (preferred)
  • Data entry: 3 years (preferred)
  • QA/QC Administration: 3 years (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract Salary: $70K - $80K/year
