Scholars of Pickering is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Teacher/Tutor to join our team! We take pride in delivering results that matter to all our students, and our teachers play a vital role in this journey. What We're Looking For:
MUST HAVE TEACHING EXPERIENCE. Candidates currently enrolled in Teachers College, OCT, or pursuing a university degree in relevant subjects are also encouraged to apply. Excellent English & French oral and written communication skills. A genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential. Ability to teach small groups of up to 3 students. Must be able to teach reading and writing skills in
French Immersion.
Must be able to think creatively and outside the box in relation to connecting with kids and finding innovative ways to help them understand concepts.Bonus if you can teach math and science.
Availability:
Candidates must be able to work a
minimum of three shifts per week
during our hours of operation:Monday - Thursday:
3:00 - 8:00 pmSaturday:
9:00 am - 2:00 pmCandidate MUST be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays*
