Overview

We are seeking friendly and efficient Counter Help to join our team in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cashiering, and food safety, with a strong focus on delivering a positive dining experience. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and safety protocols Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Manage cash register transactions accurately and efficiently Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen and serving stations Ensure food safety standards are consistently met, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Kitchen or food preparation experience is advantageous Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and evenings if required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$21.32 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
