The QMS, Health & Safety, and Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization. This role supports quality initiatives aligned with ISO9001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 standards, while also leading health and safety efforts, including chairing the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC), conducting inspections, and maintaining up-to-date documentation. The ideal candidate is a proactive change agent with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of driving cross-functional improvements and fostering a culture of safety and quality. Limited travel may be required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Management System (QMS):
Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), including SOPs, policies, manuals, and work instructions.
Lead internal audit programs across all locations; prepare for and support external audits.
Document and improve business processes, workflows, and records control.
Track and report on corrective and preventive actions, cost of poor quality (COPQ), and other key performance indicators.
Participate in customer audits and ensure compliance with client-specific quality standards.
Facilitate gap analyses, process mapping, and brainstorming sessions for continuous improvement.
Health & Safety:
Chair the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC), including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, leading discussions, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
Oversee the development, revision, and implementation of health and safety documentation, including inspection forms, hazard assessments, and emergency procedures.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Coordinate training and awareness initiatives related to health and safety.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Maintain records of incidents, inspections, and committee activities in accordance with legal and company requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor improvement plans.
Support the integration of quality and safety systems into daily operations.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or a similar operational environment.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Visio, SharePoint); experience with eQMS systems.
Familiarity with ISO9001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 standards; auditor certification preferred.
Experience chairing JHSC and managing health and safety programs.
Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement and documentation initiatives.
