Job Summary:
The Laboratory Technician supports daily lab activities, while taking into consideration the company's commitment to our seven core values such as Sustainability (people, planet, and profit), in the planning and implementation of all actions related to areas of responsibility.
You Will:

  • Work Monday to Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm
  • Conduct physical testing of products and raw materials
  • Perform analytical testing utilizing instruments including, but not limited to, UV/VIS, FTIR, Karl Fischer, optical rotation, melting point, pH and titrations
  • Archive bulk and raw material samples
  • Lift and move items such as chemicals, chemical waste, archive boxes and gas cylinders as required
  • Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
You Have:
  • Completion of a diploma or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related discipline
  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar role
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Proficient with computer software, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and databases
  • Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
