A global food manufacture is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
QA/QC Manager
to lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control team at noodle manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, maintaining high product quality, and driving continuous improvement.
QA/QC Manager Key Responsibilities
Lead, monitor, and support daily activities of the QA/QC team to ensure consistent implementation of quality and food safety programs across all shifts.
Develop, implement, and maintain the facility's HACCP plan and other food safety programs, ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, and recognized GFSI standards (e.g., SQF, BRC).
Manage all internal and external audits and inspections; maintain audit readiness at all times.
Monitor, verify, and enforce GMPs, sanitation procedures, allergen control, and regulatory policies facility-wide.
Investigate deviations, quality incidents, customer complaints, and food safety issues; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing quality trends, conducting risk assessments, and optimizing processes to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Maintain the quality document control system ensuring all records are accurate, current, and audit-ready.
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to QA/QC staff; ensure team members are knowledgeable about HACCP, food safety, and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Sanitation, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve quality concerns and support product innovation.
Maintain and enforce QA/QC policies, manuals, SOPs, product specifications, and training materials.
Track and report key quality metrics (KPIs), audit findings, and improvement progress to senior leadership.
QA/QC Manager
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
HACCP certification required; PCQI certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, GFSI standards, GMP, SSOPs, and sanitation best practices.
Proven experience managing QA/QC teams and fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with quality systems and document control software (e.g., TraceGains, SafetyChain, or equivalents).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Split time between office environment and production floor.
Able to work in varying temperature conditions (cold, warm, or humid) as required.
May require occasional evening, weekend, or off-shift work for audits or production support.
