We do this by assisting companies in managing their workplace programs, such as Health & Safety, Human Resources, and Wellness. Our Professional Support Team assists our clients from a wide variety of industries to achieve success by lending our expertise, experience, and training. The QA Software Tester is a virtual position, with some training sessions or meetings held within the Niagara Region. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday to Friday on either an 8:00am to 4:30pm shift or evenings as needed during feature launches. Dunk & Associates is a progressive employer and offers: \xc2\xb7 4 day work weeks (after 1 year). \xc2\xb7 Employee Benefits (after 6 months). \xc2\xb7 RRSP / TFSA contributions matching up to $200/month (after 1 year). \xc2\xb7 Office expense of $200/month (after 6 months) The salary range for this position is $18 to $22 depending upon skill level and experience. Duties and Responsibilities: The QA Software Tester will be responsible for: \xc2\xb7 Working under the direction of the Manager of Technology and team leads. \xc2\xb7 Becoming familiar with project design by closely reading project documentation and communicating with our team of developers, professionals and designers. \xc2\xb7 Designing and implementing test plans for new and existing features. \xc2\xb7 Executing test plans while accurately documenting test results and all relevant test artifacts. \xc2\xb7 Meticulously logging defects, bugs, tracking and resolution with Azure DevOps. \xc2\xb7 Ensuring reproduction steps are elaborated so that programmers can reproduce and fix issues. \xc2\xb7 Engaging in continuous improvement of the QA process. \xc2\xb7 Creating documentation/User guides and supporting material for end users. \xc2\xb7 Any other duties as required. Qualifications: The Ideal candidate will possess: \xc2\xb7 1 year of experience in quality assurance or similar role. \xc2\xb7 Experience evaluating systems, identifying problems and collaborating with teams to find solutions. \xc2\xb7 A strong attention to detail. \xc2\xb7 Problem solving and creative thinking skill sets including creating what if scenarios. \xc2\xb7 Strong oral and written skills for both technical and non-technical people. \xc2\xb7 A post secondary education in a related field would be an asset. \xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a benefit. Other Requirements: \xc2\xb7 A quiet, designated home office space is required. This must be separate from other living spaces (i.e. cannot be at the kitchen table, the living room, or other shared spaces). \xc2\xb7 A reliable high-speed internet service with an ethernet connection (cannot run off of wifi). \xc2\xb7 Your own computer with webcam and headset with microphone for meetings (recommend 2 monitors). \xc2\xb7 Police Background check looking for theft and identity theft. \xc2\xb7 Occasional travel will be required to attend meetings and training sessions (mostly within the Niagara region).
