What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:
  • Develop and maintain the company Maintenance Control Manual (MCM), Technical Procedures Manual (TPM), Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL\xe2\x80\x99s) and other documents incorporated by reference in the MCM.
  • Maintain amendments to the MCM due to regulatory changes, audit findings or changes to company operation, as provided by the Quality Assurance and Training Manager (QATM).
  • Prepare and submit the MCM amendment package to Transport Canada (TC) for approval.
  • Control and administer the process of developing procedures, forms, checklists, memoranda, and circulars required to support the Quality Management System.
  • Develop amendments to the MEL for both B737-800 and B737-8 in cooperation with the VP Maintenance & Engineering, Airworthiness and Fleet Manager as well as the VP Flight Operations and/or Chief Pilot.
  • Maintain a record of all requests for amendments submitted to QA for Procedures, Forms and Checklists and publication of memoranda and circulars (TIC\xe2\x80\x99s & TOM\xe2\x80\x99s).
  • Review, compose and/or edit all submissions to ensure consistent format, language, and

compliance to published policy and procedures IAW Company\xe2\x80\x99s published policy and procedures.
Prepare publication format of documents prior to submission for posting and distribution to Maintenance Personnel.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures. Ensure memoranda and circulars that require \xe2\x80\x9cread receipt\xe2\x80\x9d confirmation can be tracked. Maintain personnel training records.
  • Administrate My Boeing Fleet by setting up user accounts & designing the library module as per End User\xe2\x80\x99s convenience. Prepare and provide training to maintenance personnel on accessing and using services available within MBF Toolbox.
  • Supervise the training schedules, course records and certification system.
  • Administer, coordinate and upload training assignments (courses & exams) on the online training portal \xe2\x80\x9cSmarterU\xe2\x80\x9d.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure authorization holders remain valid and current on training and AME License.
  • Other duties as assigned.



What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree related to aviation or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a library in an airline or AMO environment.
  • Previous leadership / administrative experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulatory (CAR) requirements with respect to the provisioning of reference material and technical data.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Restricted Area Identification Clearance (RAIC).
  • Airside Vehicle Operations Permit (AVOP "DA") will be an asset.
  • Ability to manage the available time between multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions with respect to affectivity and applicability of technical documentation.
  • Background in Aviation maintenance terminology/ATA numbering system will be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance databases will be an asset.
  • High level of literacy and proficiency in MS Office suite of software with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and training material.
