Purchasing Specialist,
responsible for effectively managing inventory processes across a diverse portfolio of Purity's distributed brands/vendors. Your high energy and drive will create a work environment focused on success and continuous process improvement.
Job Duties:
The core responsibilities of the Purchasing Specialist lie in fostering and maintaining positive relationships
with new and existing partners, both internal and external, through a variety of inventory management
practices.

The daily tasks can include but are not limited to the following:
Work closely with a portfolio of vendor partners to coordinate inventory requirements for all of Purity Life's distribution centers
Maintain accurate stock levels that are in-line with department budgets and guaranteed dating requirements
Mitigate risk and exposure by managing the inventory reserve and stock rebalancing processes
Provide accurate, proactive, and transparent communication across all internal departments on fill rate challenges, delayed shipments or any other activity that could impact the regular operations within Purity Life and its customer base
Expedite inbound purchase orders and update the system with revised expected delivery dates
Assist in coordinating delivery appointments with receiving departments and freight carriers when applicable
Maintain vendor records and profiles within the vendor management system
Some travel for trade show and team events may be required
Job Requirements:
Degree, diploma or certification a definite asset
Experience of using all MS Office tools and ability to adapt to new technology
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands in a fast-paced and changing environment
* High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
