Plan and control budget and expenditures Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures Review and process claims against suppliers Oversee the preparation of reports Organize and maintain inventory Resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers Prepare purchase orders Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers Monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks Maintain inventory of supplies Establish and maintain contact with suppliers
