Job Description

As Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the purchasing and coordination of products and materials to ensure organizational success and customer satisfaction. The Purchasing Coordinator develops and maintains relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure materials and product requirements are met.

Duties include:

Responsible for full purchasing cycle.

Purchase and verify pricing for all material.

Update documentation with proper pricing and expected delivery dates.

Monitor and expedite orders to ensure production deadlines are met

Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure communication and coordination of material supply.

Resolve any discrepancies that arise in shipments from the suppliers.

Responsible for coordination of material demand.

Maintain inventory in ERP system

A College Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain or equivalent

A minimum 2 years\' purchasing experience in a wood manufacturing environment.

Excellent negotiation skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook.

Experience working with ERP systems.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

Demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills.
