A local Uniform and Law Enforcement Equipment provider servicing government and private industries is seeking a Purchasing Administrator.
The ideal candidate has a passion for data, details, numbers, and is an exceptionally organized person. To be successful in this Purchasing Administrator role, multitasking and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
Providing general support to our Purchasing and Accounting Departments and performing a wide variety of tasks, including, but not limited to:
o Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs.
o Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery.
o Follow up with suppliers to confirm or change orders.
o Managing vendor returns
o Researching potential vendors.
o Reconciling warehouse pick tickets and invoice entries by comparing system reports.
o Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, posting and recording accounts receivable and accounts payable data.
o NetSuite data entry of Sales Orders, Invoices, Receipts, Purchase Orders and other transactions and system data as required.
o Answering and forwarding calls, checking voicemail and returning calls.
o Maintaining and updating supplier files, and documents, including contract details.
o Preparing reports.
o Additional duties as assigned to help support the purchasing and accounting teams.
Qualifications
Business Administration Diploma or equivalent work experience as a Purchasing Administrator or similar role.
Excellent computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office Suite and other general computer applications.
Advanced knowledge and exceptionally skilled in Excel.
Excellent communication skills
Detail oriented
Initiative, adaptability, and flexibility.
