About Us
We are a long-established importer and distributor supplying commercial and industrial lighting and electrical products across Canada and North America. We work directly with overseas manufacturers and provide dependable products, competitive pricing, and strong service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day purchasing of lighting and electrical products
Communicate daily with overseas suppliers, primarily in China (Mandarin)
Identify and evaluate new suppliers and product opportunities
Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and packaging specifications
Maintain strong long-term supplier relationships
Ensure accurate purchase orders, confirmations, shipping details, and timelines
Coordinate closely with customer service and operations to support customer orders
Provide pricing, availability, and lead time information internally
Monitor quality, delivery performance, and resolve supplier issues as required
Qualifications
Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) is required; English fluency required
Purchasing / sourcing / supply chain experience preferred
Lighting or electrical product experience is a strong asset
Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
Comfortable working with overseas time zones and international logistics
Proficiency with Excel and ERP/purchasing systems preferred
